Singapore VPS hosting in Southeast Asia
For users across Southeast Asia, this VPS runs in SIN-12 on Tai Seng Drive, in north-eastern Singapore. One thing to know first: the public test server is in a different building, SIN-01.

Tai Seng Drive, and a test server elsewhere
The VPS range runs from one building, SIN-12, at 23 Tai Seng Drive in north-eastern Singapore. Leaseweb counts 7 carriers available there and lists it as Tier III. SIN-01 in Serangoon and SIN-15 on Sunview Drive are on Leaseweb's list too, but its VPS configurator offers SIN-12.
The test server is in another building
Leaseweb lists no test server in SIN-12. Its Singapore test server is in SIN-01, at 1 Serangoon North Ave 6, and its looking glass node here is called SIN-10. So the test on this page shows the path to Leaseweb in Singapore. It does not reach the building your VPS would run in.
Subsea cables in several directions
Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority said on 30 May 2024 that the country is a regional data centre hub, with over 1.4 gigawatts of capacity and more than 70 cloud, enterprise and co-location data centres.
Counts of subsea cables depend on the method. The Economic Development Board reported 26 cables across three landing sites in June 2023, and said Singapore aims to double its landing capacity over the next decade. TeleGeography's data gave 34 in-service systems on 5 November 2026, short regional links included. That count includes 14 at Tuas, 10 at Changi North, 5 at Changi South and 4 at Tanah Merah. Routes from Singapore include:
- Middle East, Africa and Europe: SeaMeWe-5, PEACE
- East Asia: SJC2, Asia Direct Cable
- Australia: Australia-Singapore Cable
- United States: Bifrost, Echo
PeeringDB listed 473 networks on Equinix Singapore on 5 November 2026, 253 on SGIX and 164 on BBIX Singapore. SGIX describes itself as Singapore's largest not-for-profit Internet Exchange, with points of presence in all major data centres there.
Users in Southeast Asia
Pick Singapore for users in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. It is also reasonable for South Asia and parts of East Asia, given the cable routes through the city. It is also the closest location here for users in Australia and New Zealand.
City facts describe the place, not this service, and we claim no connection to any exchange or cable named here. Figures with no date were read in November 2026. Sources: IMDA, EDB, TeleGeography, SGIX, PeeringDB, Leaseweb.

Before you choose Singapore
Does the test on this page reach the building my VPS runs in?
No. The test server is in SIN-01 in Serangoon, and your VPS runs in SIN-12 on Tai Seng Drive. Read the result as the path from you to Leaseweb in Singapore. This is the only one of the seven locations with that gap. The network test guide explains what the numbers can tell you.
Can a Singapore VPS reach users in mainland China?
We make no claim about reach into mainland China. If those users matter to you, test from a connection inside China before you order, and do not rely on results from anywhere else.
Why does Singapore cost more than Europe or the US?
You pay more here for the same plan and the same 30 TB of traffic, because Leaseweb's own costs in Singapore are higher. Amsterdam starts at $8.99 a month and Los Angeles at $10.99, against $12.99 here.
